Who Is Terry McLaurin’s Wife?
Caitlin Winfrey was born on March 9, 1995, in Indiana, and grew up there as one of three children of her mother Kimberly, alongside brothers Alexis and Andrew. She attended Cathedral High School in Indianapolis — the same school Terry McLaurin attended — and later studied nursing, first at Indiana University and then at the Leighton School of Nursing at Marian University, earning her nursing degree in August 2020.
She keeps a private Instagram account and has largely stayed out of the spotlight, even as her husband became one of the NFL’s most respected wide receivers.
How Terry and Caitlin Met
Terry and Caitlin met as teenagers at Cathedral High School in Indianapolis. Their connection grew slowly: they stayed in touch while McLaurin played college football at Ohio State, began dating in the mid-2010s, and only went public with the relationship in March 2022, when McLaurin posted a birthday tribute to her. In a touch that delighted fans, he had an old high school photo of the two of them embroidered inside his wedding tuxedo.
The Wedding in Mexico
McLaurin proposed in December 2023 at the Key West Butterfly and Nature Conservatory in Florida, presenting Caitlin with an oval-cut diamond ring estimated at 5 to 7 carats. On February 15, 2025, they married at Solaz, a Luxury Collection Resort, in Los Cabos, Mexico, in front of 114 guests. McLaurin wore a custom black tuxedo with a Tom Ford bow tie, while Caitlin wore a Verdin Bridal New York gown with lace detailing and a cathedral train.
Caitlin Winfrey’s Nursing Career
Caitlin is a registered nurse by profession. Her exact employer is not publicly shared — a deliberate privacy choice — but her qualification path is well documented: Indiana University, then Marian University’s nursing school, graduating in 2020. She has built her own career in healthcare alongside, not behind, her husband’s football career.
Terry McLaurin’s Career and Net Worth
Terry McLaurin, born September 15, 1995, in Indianapolis, played at Ohio State and was drafted by Washington in the third round of the 2019 NFL draft. He has spent his entire NFL career with Washington, earning two Pro Bowl selections and, in 2024, setting the franchise record with 13 touchdown catches in a season.
His contracts tell the financial story: a four-year rookie deal worth about $3.8 million, a three-year extension worth about $68 million in 2022, and a new three-year extension worth up to $96 million signed in August 2025, with about $44.65 million guaranteed. His net worth is commonly estimated at around $70–75 million, but that is an estimate derived from career earnings, not a published balance sheet. In October 2026 he suffered a torn patellar tendon and was ruled out for the rest of the season — a serious setback in the first year of that new deal.
